There's a few things you need to do before you work with children at Dubbo Presbyterian Church.
The first 3 steps can be done in any order. Once they are all done you can submit your information in Step 4.

Step 1 - Training
We offer “Breaking the Silence” Basic Training at DPC every 3 years.
As well as this, the Presbyterian Church of NSW offers online training.
It is a series of 7 modules (ranging from 5 min to 15 min in length) followed by an online quiz. After you complete the quiz you will be sent an email. Please forward this to

Step 2 - WWC Number
A working with children number (WWC) is supplied by the NSW government.If you already have a WWC number from a previous church or employer you can use the same number.
If you do not have a number, Click on the button below to go to the NSW Government WWC application page.
Under "Purpose for check" enter "Volunteer"
Under "Sector" select "Religious Services"
After you fill in the online form you will be emailed a receipt. You need to take identification (e.g. licence) and the ‘New application Reciept’ to a Motor Registry Office in person, and then your WWC number will be emailed to you.

Step 3 - Job description
We have a generic job description to cover all ministries at DPC. The job description is available here. If you are unsure about anything in the job description talk to the person who is supervising the ministry that you are involved in.
Step 4 - Submit your information
This will take you to a new page on the Presbyterian Church of NSW website where you can submit all your details. You will need your WWC number to complete this form.
Note: in the filed where it says "Position or Role" select "Other" and type in "DPC Children's Ministry"
